Ingredients

For the Ribs:

  • 2 lbs pork ribs (cut into 2-3 inch pieces)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • Cooking oil (for frying)

For the Sticky Glaze:

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp water

For Garnish:

  • Chopped parsley or cilantro
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

1. Prepare the Ribs

  1. Cut the pork ribs into small pieces and pat them dry.
  2. Marinate with soy sauce, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper for 30 minutes.
  3. Coat the ribs with cornstarch.

2. Fry the Ribs

  1. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Fry ribs in batches for 5-7 minutes until golden. Remove and drain.
  3. For extra crispiness, fry a second time for 2-3 minutes.

3. Make the Sticky Glaze

  1. Heat sesame oil in a pan. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Stir in soy sauce, honey, oyster sauce, water, and chili flakes. Simmer until thickened.

4. Coat the Ribs

  1. Add the fried ribs to the glaze. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Cook for 1-2 minutes to caramelize the glaze.

5. Garnish and Serve

  1. Transfer ribs to a plate. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and parsley.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy!
